Kitteh Can Has Home?
Kitteh Can Has Home!
I am happy to report that a friend of mine found a foster home for the newborn kitten I found in my front yard yesterday morning. I have a feeling that they'd keep him permanently if he survives the next few days and if they don't find him an otherwise permanent home.
Here's another photo I took of him Tuesday morning: (That's a wasabi dish with milk in the box next to the little guy)
And here are some photos I took of him just before dropping him off at his foster home. My vet's office did a wonderful job of taking care of him through the day and we were all relieved that he's now in good hands.
Thanks to all who wished him well!

ADORABLE!!!! I WANTS HIM!!!! oh wait...Mom would kill me. She hates cats.
YOU FED HIM WASABI!?!?!
@Undercover_Librarian - Bah, ha ha. No. I fed him out of a wasabi dish. He was too little to give a bowl. Turns out he was too little for anything but a syringe of baby formula...the vet's office showed me how to feed a newborn kitty. I'm not a cat person, so I understand your mom. But I just couldn't let an infant die on my front lawn.
@BigToePeople - I saw this one lady who had a kitten smaller than THAT. She kept it warm by putting it between her breast and her shirt...it was hilarious!
@Undercover_Librarian - The vet recommended a heating pad with a towel over it. These babies have full out claws, so I think the lady was putting her cleavage in danger.
Hey girl, I am so glad that the little one has a home! I know that this is a huge relief to you too!!!! I know that the little kitty will make a great pet to someone who will care for it!!!
@firefighterswife - Yes, he's going to be a gorgeous cat when he grows up. With all the TLC he'll get from his foster mom and her 10yr old daughter, I think he'll grow up sweet and socialized (they have a rescue dog and a 3-legged kitten as well).
@BigToePeople - Dude, that lady had SO much silicone, that I doubt she would have felt it if the kitten went ninja on her boobage.
sooo little. I had no idea. Good for you!
@AliasUndercover - I'm so glad to have played a role in saving his life (and that the role only lasted a day).
oooh I am so glad he is going to have a family to care for him as he needs.
Aww, I'm glad you found a place for the kitty! He is so tiny!!!
Glad the kitty has found a home. It's no joke bottle feeding baby animals!!!!
He's so cute and teeny-tiny! My parents' would kill me if I were to take him in, but glad someone's taking him.
He looks so tiny & frail. I'm thinking he was in good hands--er, heart--when he was with you for the one day!
Gorgeous kitten. I wonder how he got on your front lawn? Maybe a bird picked him up and dropped him which is the case with my Mum's nextdoor neighbour's cat.

That is so awesome that someone is going to adopt the kitty! That is one teeeeeeeeny kitty. Awwwwwww!
It's a rare chance you found him in front yard! He's too little and looks not over a week yet. His mom must have accidentally dropped him when she mouthed him along a way. Glad he finally has home and wishing him well!
yeeeeeeeeaaaahhhh!!!!!! you made my day
heart wide opened - hugs to you for that !!!
tc and keep growing !!!!!! wonderful ! ! !
just took a deep breath
@heidi_helen - @starrynite45 - I think he may have been born in our front yard that night. My husband said he heard cats before dawn.
@twoboycrazy - I was sooooo relieved!
@MyTrooper71 - Yay, I'm so glad this kitty and I could give you a smile.
Glad kitty was found by someone who cares and now has a home.
I'm not a big fan of cats, but I'm glad the kitty is doing good!
@bella_esperanza - I'm not a cat person either. In fact, Steve and I are allergic. There was something really endearing about it's helplessness and I knew it could be love in someone's life.
I am so glad you found him a home! He's so tiny!!!
